Central American cooking course just steps away from Lake Maggiore

Do you want to learn how to cook three typical and easy to make dishes?

We will teach you how to prepare three typical dishes of Central American cuisine: Pepian, Gallo Pinto, and Sopa Negra.

We will begin with Pepian, a dish made with chicken and spices. We‘ll show you how to prepare the chicken broth and how to add the spices to achieve a delicious flavor.

Next, we will prepare Gallo Pinto, a peasant dish made with black beans, rice, spices, and vegetables. We‘ll teach you how to cook the black beans and how to prepare the rice to make a tasty and nutritious dish.

Finally, we will prepare Sopa Negra, a soup made with black bean broth. We‘ll show you how to prepare the broth and how to add the vegetables to make a warm and delicious dish.

At the end of the course, you will have the opportunity to taste all the dishes you have prepared, accompanied by a glass of red wine and to ask for advice to reproduce them at home.

In a private villa with garden near Laveno-Mombello (VA), close to Lake Maggiore (VA).

Every day from 18h00 to 21h00.

Aura: I come from Guatemala and I love to cook the dishes of my tradition and also of neighboring countries. For years I have lived in Italy, a country that has given me a lot and where I have learned a lot about cooking.
